The Diary of Anne Frank |
This was a hard show to costume. The director wanted as
little color as possible. Anne also had to age and appear to grow as the play progresses.
I found a great way to make the "star" appear to stay on Anne's dress
without ruining the fabric. I just sewed a layer of black tulle under the star
she takes off and it looks as if the whole dress had faded. This show was produced by Syracuse Civil Theater in March of 2001 |
