This is what I call the Bimbo page. I was Botticelli Springtime in Present Company Productions production of "Cactus Flower" in 2001. The dress is a Vintage Vogue pattern and let me tell you it was much harder than most costume patterns. It became a fitting nightmare but I think it gets the message across.
Cactus Flower
I liked the way this one fit. I wasn't moving much. It was another vintage pattern. This time Butterick. The earrings are my Mom's really, really big ones from the early 60's.
     Lots of hot rollers, hair spray and good old fashioned teasing went into this hair. I did enjoy the time I spent getting my hair done every night. I think Kathy did a great job making it look really Elizabeth Taylor. By the way my hair stylist really gave me a 60's bubble cut. He's wonderful at helping me get the hair just right for the time frame.
